Taylor said the Bears seem to have a pretty good chance to go to the Super Bowl this season and this was one of the reasons that convinced him to sign up with the team. Taylor said he wants to go to the team that could contend for the Super Bowl. He also added that Chicago Bears is making the right moves towards winning a championship, that’s why he decided to join the team.

But there’ll be no chance for him to be working with another station because there’s a “non-compete” provision in his contract with CBS. Because of the said clause, Donnie will not be allowed to work for any Washington-area station in the next one year and 1 ½ months.

Food Network will have a new face and a new show. The Mexican Made Easy is the newest TV series on Food Network that will feature good old Mexican dishes. Spearheading the show is Marcela Valladolid who has a simple philosophy in Mexican cooking, “Real Mexican. Real Simple. Real Good.”

Marcela Valladolid grew up in Tijuana, Mexico and today she is residing in San Diego along with her 5-year-old son Fausto. Being the newest chef on the Food Network, Marcela Valladolid will showcase lots of exciting and tasty recipes on Mexican Made Easy. These recipes will come from her cookbook named Fresh Mexico. She wants to show to the people how easy it is to make delicious Mexican food.

Mortimer Benjamin Zuckerman also known as Mort Zuckerman has worked his way out to become a billionaire. He was included in Forbes list of top 400 richest Americans in 1999. He is a magazine editor, publisher and real estate magnate. He is the chairman of the board and director of Boston Properties, Inc which he co-founded in 1970. At present he is the Editor-in-Chief of “U.S. News & World Report”.

Mort Zuckerman owns and at the same time publishes the “New York Daily News”. Back in 1980, Mort Zuckerman purchased the literary magazine “Atlantic Monthly” and for 19 years he was its chairman. Publishing and real estate are not his only interest, Mort Zuckerman also actively supports Israeli, Zionist and international Jewish causes. He is also a popular world affairs commentator.

Pete Sheppard has been with WEEI since 1994. He came to be known as Pete “The Meat” Sheppard. He worked with WEEI as reporter and substitute host at the Boston sports radio station. His responsibilities also include providing updates during WEEI’s “The Big Show.” Unfortunately after more than a decade, Pete Sheppard got fired. It was the station management who announced the removal of his post from WEEI. Some WEEI listeners are not happy about the turn of events and in fact former Red Sox star Curt Schilling twitted that a guest appearance on the station is not going to happen unless they hire back Pete Sheppard.

Because Pete Sheppard got fired, speculations are out that he will most likely transfer to rival station 98.5, The Sports Hub.

Scott Brown was born on September 12, 1952. He graduated from Tufts University and Boston College. He specializes in family law. Scott Brown began his career in politics in 1992 where he became an assesor in Wrentham, Massachusetts. According to E.J. Dionne, Washington Post columnist, Scott Brown is “an insurgent who was somewhat disconnected from the national Republican Party”. Brown currently holds the rank of lieutenant colonel as a member of the Massachusetts National Guard. Brown is also a member of the Massachusetts Bar Association.

Given all the political accomplishments of Brown, he is also a champion in the field of long-distance running. He’s also an avid swimmer and bicyclist. He also joined in several duathlons and triathlons where he won awards. Scott Brown also posed naked in a Cosmopolitan magazine centerfold. Brown has 2 daughters, Ayla Brown, a semi-finalist in American Idol, and Arianna Brown, a pre-medical student and a good equestrian.

The gorgeous actress, Sophia Loren, appeared in the recently concluded 67th Golden Globe Awards where she presented the winner of the Best Foreign Language Film Award. Sophia Loren won an Academy Award for Best Actress in the Italian film, Two Women. She was the first ever actress to ever bag an Academy Award for a non-English-speaking performance. Loren has also received an Honorary Academy Award way back in 1991. She also bagged five Golden Globe Awards. In cinema history, Sophia Loren is second to Meryl Streep when it comes to the most number of awards received by an actress. She won 49 international awards all-in-all.

Loren stunned the crowd with her seemingly incincible beauty that many have been thinking, “how old is Sophia Loren?“. Seriously, she doesn’t look like a 75-year-old woman. Her face seems wrinkle-free. Is this science coming into play? We wouldn’t know. Although Sophia Loren claimed that her youthful look is not a product of plastic surgery. It’s for you to decide.

The rythm-and-blues singer, Teddy Pendergrass died due to colon cancer at the age of 59, according to his son, Teddy Pendergrass II. Pendergrass was a huge music icon. He started his career as a drummer. In the 1970’s he rose to fame when he joined the band Harold Melvin and the Blue Notes where he was the lead singer. Their band was responsible for the timeless hit, “If You Don’t Know Me By Now”.

In 1982, Pendergrass crashed his Rolls-Royce, paralyzing his lower body. But this didn’t stop him from continuing his passion in music because a year after the horrible accident, he launched the album “Love Language”. He performed live on the stage while on his wheelchair in 1985. Teddy Pendergrass has contributed a lot to the music industry. He will always be remembered.
